We have been busy behind the scenes looking for ways to show the world that the FMBAA is still here and going strong! The FMBAA is going to be part of the Alliance for the “Arts & Ends” holiday craft sale on Saturday, December 3rd from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The event will take place outside in the Greenmarket Field which will coincide with their weekly outdoor farmer’s market. We will have our own booth set up and will be proudly displaying and selling the original mini masters that so many of our members have created and donated to the FMBAA. The only difference is that this year we will not be selling them in our gallery…..we will be selling them at various venues like this one.
If you would like to donate items to the sale, the FMBAA will gladly accept the following items:
- Your originally created notecards w/envelopes (will allow prints and giclees of your own original artwork and your own photographs);
- Small (no bigger than 8×10) original pieces of artwork such as mini masters (must be matted w/backing and in plastic sleeves and no canvas pieces please);
- Any other items must be approved by me, so send me your ideas and photos if possible. (no jewelry, ceramics, etc.)
If you have any of the allowed items, please bring them to the Alliance for the Arts on Thursday, November 17th where I will be accepting your donated items. If you are out of state and wish to donate your lovely creations, feel free to mail them. Let me know if you want to mail something and I will give you the address where they can be shipped.
Remember, all items you bring in are donations…..the FMBAA will take 100% of the proceeds from this sale and deposit it into our Phoenix Rebuilding Fund.
